These are rules that you should follow while with Blacksun. If your character is unfit in design (such as bright pink fur) to play within Blacksun, we'll know and kindly ask you to change it or leave. You will not be allowed to join Blacksun if you're character or role play goes against these rules after several times warning you. Note that these are not here to annoy you or give you a hard time. These are here to ensure that players of Blacksun wolves have an enjoyable role play experience.

I. Character Checklist:
Names may not have numbers (ie: 1, 2, 3) in them.
Names may not be that of a popular media character. We want them to be your original, created characters. No Balto, or Simba and what not.
Make sure your character's appearance does not include
war-paint, piercings, jewelry, wings or other odd appendages, odd fur colors, tattoos or anything else. Your wolf's appearance should be like one that is found in the real world's wilderness. We say this because we'd rather focus on the personality's unique traits rather than a rowdy-looking appearance.
Your character's appearance should relate to their species. So research your chosen species.
Make sure your character's size relates to their build and is realistic. Like a pup wouldn't be 200 lbs and a fat wolf wouldn't be 70 lbs. (A size listing should be at the bottom of the page.)
AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE THERE ARE ALLOWED SIZE LISTINGS AND A LISTING OF ACCEPTABLE FURCADIA COLORS.

II. Be polite, respectful and courteous to your fellow players. Flaming or prejudice of any kind is unwelcome. If you have a disagreement with another player please take it up with them through private whispers. If we see you ranting about another player we will warn you and if caught within the same month, you will be deleted from Blacksun's membership for two months. After two months you'll be allowed back into Blacksun but you must role play to get back into the pack.

III. Please do your best to post as much as you can while role playing. We do not require a novel but please try and do at least a paragraph (3-5 sentences), one lining is boring. Just try your best.

IV. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Please either post them in the shout box or whisper them to Target/Kat.

V. We allow mature themes, including violence and other things of graphic nature. Role plays of graphic nature should be played in a private area, or through whispers. Fights that are not too involved with death or too much bloodshed may be role played publicly.

VI. Be creative with your characters. This has nothing to do with appearance, make sure they have an in-depth personality. I don't want to see a thousand baby puppies that are orphaned and sad or a billion blood-thirsty wolves because its just what everyone plays.

VII. God-moding and Power-playing are prohibited.

VIII. Before joining a role play as a third or higher party, ask those already engaged in play.

IX. Joining this pack means that you're making a commitment to be online regularly. We'd like to see you post once a week. Please notify the staff if you are going to be absent for a long period of time so that we don't delete you should we have an activity check. We will do an activity check at the end of every month and anyone who does not post in the one week period given will be deleted if they have not notified staff of their absence excuse. You may join again if deleted for inactivity, no questions asked.

X. Be fair in fights. Trade blows. We go by the three hit rule. There must be at least two actions that would harm another character in each fighting post. Only one hit must be taken by the other player. Don't assume anything. Only the character's player can decide whether they've been knocked out, killed or injured. A post that describes a character running must only detail that the character has attempted to run, the other player decides whether they attempt to catch the other character.

XI. This pack requires consent for all things. Including death, rape, mutilation ect. Ask the player ooc before doing such things to their characters.

XII. For those characters who have died. Your character is dead to us. You cannot resurrect them. You may create a totally new character yet still use the same name however. You will have to rejoin Blacksun if you still want to be in the pack on this new character through role play.

XIII. You may create as many characters as you think you can handle.

Small – 50-70lbs (23-32kg) · 26-28in (66-71cm) high × 4.5-5ft (137-152cm) long
Medium – 70-110lbs (32-50kg) · 28-31in (71-79cm) high × 5-5.5ft (152-166cm) long
Large – 110-150lbs (50-68kg) · 31-34in (79-86cm) high × 5.5-6ft (166-182cm) long
